Daniel [on drawing]: It’s performing through your body.

Leon: Totally. I always think about that. Performance as drawing, drawing as sculpture. All of these things being the same.

Daniel: For me, before I started writing or reading, the first impulsive thing I had when I was a kid was drawing. So drawing is the most basic and complicated process of creativity. I use drawing everyday, every day of my life.... It’s such a process of being here now.
